NE HIMSS Scholarship

NE HIMSS is pleased to sponsor a scholarship promoting the development of emerging leaders in healthcare information management technology or nursing informatics. NE HIMSS student members are encouraged to apply for the $1,000 scholarship.

*Participation is open to students who are enrolled in a degree program in an accredited college or university. Certificate programs are not eligible for the award.

*Students must have completed at least one quarter or semester in their currently enrolled Healthcare Information Technology related or Nursing Informatics degree program.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be a member in good standing of HIMSS
   1. Visit the HIMSS website at https://www.himss.org/membership/student to become a student member for only $30
2. Submission of a scholarship application and related documents via email no later than 5:00 pm on June 1st

October: The scholarship will be awarded by Nebraska HIMSS.
